Tony TV: Reading the fishwrap

Quick post on Tony Raimondo's latest ad, "Endorsement". Watch:

We give the production value on this one high marks. It pulls out good quotes, shows Raimondo with Bob Kerrey and Ben Nelson, and makes Tony's best argument:

"the best Democrat to face Johanns"

(once again, the OWH ripping off Leavenworth Street, but we digress...)

That's a pretty strong ad to go into the final weekend of the primary.

We'll see if or when Scott Kleeb counters.

If he does, he has to go negative, right? Tony dismissed Kleeb as an "academic", so Kleeb will have to point out that Raimondo was a Republican.

If he doesn't counter, Kleeb must be pretty confident.

What say you?

I expect to see Congressman Terry's photo in one of Tony's ads for the General. The are friends and used to be in a lot of the same places.

That's what I think will happen on Less Than Super Tuesday in Nebraska.

BTW, we would take Tony back in a heartbeat! After November, of course.

Don't answer your phone on Monday, I think I can hear the robot cracking his knuckles in preparation for all that dialing!

I've already had two calls this week. Probably Kleeb endorsing Tony.

Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto...burn in Hades.

I think Tony must have bought some MAJOR advertising space in the Weird Harold to get that endorsement. By the way, just how much DOES a Senate Seat cost these days?

To BTO

Regard your question: "just how much DOES a Senate Seat cost these days?"

The answer for the Robo Cowboy is "your soul". He pledged to take the secret ballot away from the working class in return for the AFL-CIO endorsement and cash.

I voted for that big talking, low life, fraud once --- but never again.

Absolutely...Flynn finished nicely in a non-scientific...non-academic poll on Kearney's KGFW radio poll this morning...it was a near even split between the 6 people that participated in the poll.

Raimondo...despite all his spending did not fare well...Maybe I was wrong about the 3rd.

The "best Democrat to face Johanns" isn't a quote from the Herald. It's a claim by the Raimondo campaign.
