Total Suttle Recall...

This is sort of a non-story, but it's Thanksgiving morning, so you get what you get and you don't complain...

Channel 6 is reporting about...a phone survey.

Yup, that's their top story. SOMEONE is calling with questions about recalling Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle.

No info on who the survey company is.
No info on who is paying.
Not even a comment from Ron Penzkowski. (Hey! Ron! Back to work! We're not paying you to eat turkey!)

Or anything much else.
But Suttle's wife did call them back.

Well, at least this may have distracted you from THIS STORY! (Honestly, do NOT click the link for this other story. We're begging you...)

Was Matt Samp the offender arrested? Is that why the link is on the story about Suttle's recall?LOL

Anonymous said...

I guess Suttle is taking a page from the Esch campaign. Dad Esch used to go on camera for interviews to defend Jimmie ... guess Deb is now "defender in chief".

Anonymous said...

Happy Turkey Day Mr. Mayor!!!!!!! Next year you can celebrate as a private citizen.

Anonymous said...

There has been one prominent Republican that has been very very vocal about the recall effort, but he hasn't officially came out of the closet yet and announced a formal recall campaign.

Anonymous said...

Talking about Matt Samp is a really chicken$#!% way of debating politics. When just a few short years ago the Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert was caught red-handed sweeping abuse charges under the rug it's not a real strong topic for Republicans to argue.

Danny Boy said...

I didn't know there were any prominent Republicans left in Nebraska. Who would he/she be anywho?

Anonymous said...

New issue...

To change the subject for a moment, just wondered what the lefty/indie/obamarama crowd here thinks of Obama's plan to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan.

Is that the kind of change you can believe in?

Anonymous said...

Suttle sucks and he should have known about Samp before he unleashed him on the public. If not for Samp and his predatory style of getting way too close to people that are way too young, then someone wouldn't be missing someone they love today.

Samp is the chicken Sh*t, politics, or not.

Anonymous said...

Totally off the subject but has anyone else heard that Joe Britton of Sen. Nelson's staff has quit? Rumor has it that it is because that E. Ben has decided to vote Obamacare.

Anonymous said...

Britton going to work for someone more liberal so don't understand your rationale.

You do have to wonder what exactly Mayor Suttle is up to. It appears he's very busy producing all sorts of holiday events around town instead of running the city. I guess he's working on starting his career in showbiz since it's likely he will be unemployed in May 2010.

Anonymous said...

Danny Boy...

Please remind me of the candidates you guys have rolled out for Gov, LTGov, AG, Treas and Auditor...

Anonymous said...

Why would anyone in their right mind even consider Recalling Mayor Suttle? I mean seriously folks. Are you that bored or that driven by partisan hatred that you would put the city through such a wasteless exercise. There are too many big problems we have in Omaha to be wasting precious time on the matter of a recall.

Oh, I get it, you don't like Suttle and some of his decisions. Guess what? That's politics? Work towards the next election or build your agenda don't try to personally tear down your political opponents.

Why did Suttle do that is so horrible that the city is suffering from so greatly that we can't get along? What law was broken? How was the office so disgraced that we as a city can't function? I look at all of Omaha's problems and I can't honestly say that Jim Suttle is 100% responsible for them.

Give Suttle a chance, things have settled down somewhat now, the budget is nearly balanced, we are coming to grips with a difficult economic reality so the city is adjusting. We're not dying. Stop complaining and start doing something positively for your community, instead of crying all the time about how bad Suttle is.

And to Hal Daub and his supporters: Thank you for your contributions to our city. You made a difference and you should be proud of that. But now, give it a rest and retire from public life. Our city has moved on.

have a good holiday everyone at the LS Blog

Anonymous said...

Jim Suttle is aware of what is going on in the fire department and does nothing. That alone is enough for a recall.

GeosUser said...

Mayor Suttle may not be directly responsible for all of Omaha's financial problems (although he was on the City Council for 4 years), but he has made some bad missteps and continues to show that's he's generally tone deaf. Plus the fact that he was/is bought and paid for by the fire union is reason enough to remove him. Maybe if he spent more time seriously negotiating labor contracts and less time playing Flo Ziegfeld he wouldn't need to worry.

E.V.Debs said...

WOW! If all you folks jumping on the recall Suttle wagon weren't so narrow minded you'd recognize that Heinneman is doing all the same things wrong only on a bigger and grander scale.

Anyone care to circulate something calling for the Gov. to be recalled?

Public opinion can be manufactured and it has been by the millions spent everyday by the health care industrial complex.

What do you think will happen when health care industrial complex all of a sudden finds themselves unable to carry on monopolistic practices and consumer protection is in place, thus unable to finance millions of dollars a day to mislead people?

What is going on in America right now isn't the standard Democrats vs. Republicans, it's the Democrats vs. the Republicans AND the entire Health Insurance Industry fighting to keep a stranglehold on their sickness profiteering. Over the last 8 years the insurance companies profits increased 435% at a time when roughly 122 Americans died everyday because they didn't have healthcare. Once the dust settles and the Democrats have reformed healthcare it'll be clear who was on the right side of history.

Anonymous said...

So Phil what is the profit margin of a health insurance company?? What is an acceptable amount of profit?

Anonymous said...

Phil:

Americans die because "they didn't have healthcare." Really? Seriously? Stop by any hospital and ask whether they are obligated to treat you without regard to whether you can pay.

And what about personal responsibility? Should, for example, er, ah, well, um, say, ah, someone is morbidly obese and eats and drinks like crap--what legal obligation should I have to pay for their healthcare when they haven't taken personal responsibility for their own condition?

Phil Montag said...

HEY EVERYONE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS!!
********************************************************************
I'm trying to talk about a national epidemic and the Anonymous Cowardly Republican bloggers would rather talk about my personal weight problem then the reality of our current healthcare system. I accept that 1/300,000,000 of the healthcare problem in America is from my own eating habits. You got me. When I quit smoking 6 years ago I gained 150 pounds, something I'm working on. Let there be healthcare reform on earth and let it begin with me.

Now, lets go on and talk about the national healthcare debate, a debate that I can kick your @## in anyday of the week. Not because I'm so smart, but because it's like a Husker fan debating a Colorado fan who had a better football team this year.

Anonymous said...

Phil, You gained that weight because you were depressed due to the lack of nicotine in your system. You should have gotten your ass up off the couch and gone for a walk. Proven fact that exercise helps depression and weight loss. It was your own doing so quit putting the blame elsewhere.

On your subject, just how many employees do you think the insurance companies, pharmaceutical industry and Private hospital employ? What happens to them when government health care reform kills their jobs?

Oh, I know, the Dems will create more jobs to deal with all the unemployed workers and retrain them. Then I not only get to pay for fatasses like you that haven't taken care of themselves, but I get to pay for new jobs to replace the old jobs that were destroyed under the Dem health plans.

Thanks Nancy, Thanks Tom White and Thanks Phil Montag-but no thanks!

Anonymous said...

Phil--you raise valid points but the "my way or highway" approch you exude is a good example of why it is so difficult for lawmakers in D.C. to reach a compromise. Life and issues like health care are not as black and white as you seem to indicate. I do commend you for openly discussing your weight and obesity issues--please know you are not alone. Personally, I think it would be unfair to add rating elements to insurance (such as weight, eating habits etc.) but I have no doubt a gov't driven system would move in that direction.

did anyone see Lee Terry Sr on kalediscope this morning?

He was trying to defend his son, the Congressman and he did not do a very good job.

In fact, the Elder Terry came off as defensive and angry and completely unable to defend the record (or lack of record) of his congressman son.

Folks, its time for a change here in the 2nd District.

Anonymous said...

The last thing we need to do is change to someone who would vote for a $1 trillion takeover of the health care system. Sorry, Tom--you lost my vote--I'm sticking w/Terry and I bet the district as a whole will agree on that next year.

Sounds like you're pretty nervous about voters exercising this option... understandable.

Fact is, you brought the debacle on yourselves--you lied during the campaign as to what you would do if elected...now you're being held accountable--something specifically provided for in the City Charter. Read it, bucko.

Anonymous said...

I assume Deb Suttle is gonna respond next...lol

Anonymous said...

Phil @ 9:52-- There are a number of groups you can approach and people you can talk to who can relate. Lisa Hannah comes to mind. The problem of community rating though is made worse in the bills now in Congress--insurers can rate on age only--that will simply push up the cost for everyone else.

Anonymous said...

NNN's mission supposedly is "online political commentary and community building". Bull. It's just "attack Lee Terry...on anything... all the time". I have several progressive friends--they all canned NNN months ago since there's nothing ever about positive proposals or ideas. Just sleaze.

Anon 408 PM:

Are you smokin Afghani opium? What does the Obama 30K troop commitment mean to you?

His generals are asking for it - should he say no? Are you now saying presidents shouldn't listen to their generals - considering W's record maybe that's not a bad idea.

Or are you complaining about the cost for war? Hmmm. Let me see. Oh yeah. President Bush got us into this war. He ran both the Iraq and Afghanistan "off budget" - which means every dime of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom was deficit spending - EVERY DIME OF IT. He kept it off budget for 7 years (most wars are off budget in the initial phases due to lack of budgeting for warfare) but Bush refused to pay for his wars. Left them for the rest of us - after he cut taxes for his rich friends.

Here's a thought: Maybe if Bush wanted his grudge match with Saddam he could have kept the budget that gave us a surplus instead of cutting revenue, skyrocketing costs and starting two wars.

For any conservative to complain about paying for anything is just incredible. It was W and the conservative ideology that took a 270 billion surplus and turned it into a trillion dollar deficit while sending our soldiers to war without the equipment they needed and treating them like pond scum when they got back.

SO no matter how we pay for it - how you gonna look a soldier in the eye and explain your policies that have resulted in 1000% increases in military suicides and countless Iraq veterans being homeless. Huh, how you gonna do that?

Okay, so I went back and watched the Channel 7 talk show. It seems as though Lee Terry sr could have been more prepared for the ilk that Severe and that Chantel chick dished out. He doesn't need to be able to recite bill numbers, but portions of bills written by the Congressman would be good to have handy.

That does not give a ketv "reporter" or a ketv personality to state flat out lies. All commercials about Jim Esch's dwi were run by the national groups. As for bills, ask the telecom industry who fought hard and who was the original lead on the USF portions of the telecom bill. It was Terry and Boucher's bill until the dems took over the house and then, rather than pick up his toys and refuse to play, it became the Boucher/Terry bill.

As for energy, Terry was a leading proponent of cafe standards in the house for 10 years. He was at odds with his committee chairman at every turn on the subject and when John Dingell was given back the chairman position, Terry took his cafe bill to him and it was pushed through-in spite of Henry Waxman's tantrums. As a matter of fact, that support of Terry's position is part of why John Dingell lost his Chairman's seat.

KETV should be embarrassed to pay those two "journalists".

I am so glad we have Lee Terry as our congressman. People of Nebraska has been desperately crying out for the urgent need to rename a post office. Thanks to Lee Terry and his awesome influence, after 10 years of hard work Lee finally got it done. Wow, no more worries about health care bills, crime, jobs, none of that because we have such a powerful Congressman, that our interests are always heard in Washington because of Lee.

And if there is someone with the gull to challenge Lee we have our own Karl Rove, Lee Atwater in some guy from the East Coast named "Pepe" Boomer who will run a million dollars worth of personal attack ads.

Anonymous said...

Boomer's from Lincoln. Owns a home there. Probably sleeps there more than Tiger sleeps in his house.

Lee Terry renamed that post office in north Omaha after a deceased leader in the north O. That happened in his first term.

All the energy and telecom work was done in a bipartisan fashion What do you have against bipartisanism and developing expertise in 2 particular areas?

Maybe you think that Congressman Terry should chest thump fellow female State Senators and alienate all Members from the other Party?

I guess if you want an alienator, then you know who to vote for. If you want a bipartisan coalition builder, then you should vote for Lee Terry.

Anonymous said...

Shoe--thanks for making my point.

When GWB was around, it was pretty easy for you clowns to sit on the sidelines and offer nothing but attacks. Now your party controls everything in the fed gov't...it is now your policy...and as far as this new policy (30,000 increase in troops), a fair q: how are you going to pay for it? $1 trillion over the next decade.

Or are you just gonna evade the q...

Anonymous said...

Anon 11:14 (Ian)--you need to look at the fed campaign finance reports.

In 08, the DCCC, DNC and NDP paid for $1 million in attack TV ads, mail and radio against Terry. Fact.

The NRCC, RNC and NEGOP, paid for $600,000 in ads against Esch.

Terry was outspent and, in a bad political environment, still won. And, 2010 is going to be a favorable year for Republicans, especially with the Dem unemployment (10.2%), a $1 trillion flawed health care takeover plan and now $1 trillion for expanding the war in Afghanistan--the same war the Dems said they would end.

As Sweeper said, you really should pick a name for yourself so it would be easier to "converse". Considering your creative rewrite of the facts it shouldn't be too hard for you. Let me help. You could use:

Colin Powell - Like Colin Powell your arguments present a straw man - talking about cost when your fearless and mindless leader W left the country in the worst financial shape it has EVER seen.

or:

Lee Terry: just like Terry's phony claims of bipartisanship your claims about the Democrats are phony.

or:

Pee Wee Herman. Just like Pee Wee, when the lights went out with the Bush Administration you got caught with nothing but your pee wee in your hand. Everything else was lost in the Bush stock market crash.

how about "Dana Perino". LAst week on Fox the former Bush White House spokesperson was quoted saying "there was never a terrorist attack on US soil during the Bush administration." It seems Ms. Perino thinks the Bush Administration took over on September 12, 2001. Just like you simply restating a lie as fact makes it true?

Or how about "tea bagger": you'd fit right in with all the buffoons who supported Bush's over spending and tax cuts for the rich, his off budget wars to hide the true cost from the American people, his 700 billion bailout of his banking friends, and his 1 trillion dollar boondoggle for Phrma and now complain about big government, out of control spending, and deficits. That one would be my pick for you.

So C'mon, choose a name. tea bagger. seems perfect.

Anonymous said...

Adkins was the other co-author; the full book is going to be in print Jan.

Anonymous said...

I hope Tom White reads that book.

As much as one can point to Lee Terry's grassroots efforts don't you think it was his ads questioning Esch's character (DUI, spoiled kid w rich parents) that was the deciding factor?

Sometimes I love how professors can theorize all day about various thoughs and ideas and write volumes about it but in reality politics is a street level game of blood, guts, dirt, etc....

Anonymous said...

I heard that Matt Samp is an "advisor" to the Young Democrats. Isn't anyone concerned about the safety of these kids?

Anonymous said...

Yes, they should be concerned about their kids, after what happened to one of the other kids he advised.

Anonymous said...

Anon 2:12--hey, it can be a fascinating discussion--what caused people to vote the way they did. Adkins/Petrow looked at the precinct data--what jumps out at you is that where Terry concentrated his field efforts (and all of the tactics that go with intensive f2f contacts) he ran well. Especially in E.O. precincts--Terry kept Esch to a 53/47 margin--in places Esch should have won 2:1 like Obama did.

I agree Terry's TV ads were good--very visual and creative. The dwi ad, however, was from the NRCC. So you need to credit them.

Esch's TV was also good--he could have used 2 or 3 weeks of positive bio stuff though--instead he went right to attacking Terry before people really knew who he (Esch) was.

Anonymous said...

Adkins/Petrow also go over polling data--it shows very clearly that people liked and trusted Terry. That's just the fact of the situation.

That hasn't changed at all either. Terry is stronger today than he was a year ago. People like and trust him--as much as that makes the Dem trolls vomit.

The Dems threw $1 million at Terry in attack ads, radio and mail--it didn't work in a bad enviro for Republicans.

What is funny about the Dem troll posts here is that they don't appear to have learned anything. They aren't going to beat Terry by attacking him personally. And, yet, that's all you see here from them. They also aren't going to beat him by bringing up the same old, tired, lame attack lines on veterans, term limits and other stuff. Nancy Thompson used those also--when are they going to try something new?

They really need to read Adkins/Petrow's book. Someone please get it for X-Mas for the Dems.

It looks to me like it might be a good investment for Republicans if they'd give Hannah a couple thousand bucks to run for a state wide office as a Democrat. She could cause enough hate and discontent to cause hundreds of resignations by party activists who would refuse to support her and it would take years for the Demos to recover.

I wouldn't worry too much about Sheila Dixon's crimes in New Jersey or William Jefferson in Louisiana. NJ and LA have been equal oportunity states for Dems and Reps who are corrupt. Right here in Nebraska we have Adams County Treasurer Julia Moeller and Foster Care Review Board executive Director Carol Stitt engaged in illegal activity and they're both Republicans.

Obama bumped Charlie Brown until next week or what? Now there's a scandal. Where's Lee Terry when you need him for FCC regulation?

Add that right to your Top 10 list of attacks on LT!

good oppo research, Ian!

I bet Obama's kids are pissed. first he screws up their holiday viewing plans and now they're going to have 50,000 people in their home during the Christmas Season?

Kids always get the short end of the stick!

We should start letting the kids vote in elections. I know my kids could have cast a much better educated vote for the Omaha Mayors race last Spring!

Anon 4:04,

I had no opposition to the Afghan war, since that is where the people that attacked us on 9-11 came from, and where many of them still run about freely -including Bin Ladin. Remember that guy, the one GW promised he would get "dead or alive?"

I was, and am, opposed to the Iraq war. It is an outright travesty that GW had to go play cowboy and squander nearly a trillion dollars getting even with that guy that tried to kill his daddy. Afghanistan could have been settled by now and Saddam would have got the message loud and clear, as did Ghaddafi after we thumped his nose. The Iranians would still be more concerned about making life miserable for Saddam, instead of for us.

I'm just glad that we finally have an adult in charge - someone that understands the limitations of how much military-industrial complex we can afford. I really appreciated that Pres. Obama gave Pres. Eisenhower credit where it was due.

I also appreciate the fact that Pres. Obama isn't making his decisions about this based on the input from the Corporate Lobbyist Cartel, as is being done with the health care initiative. Hopefully he'll learn from that lesson.

Macdaddy/Macidiot must not get out much. "teabagger" is not a derogatory term for gays. Even straight people can be teabaggers.

How to pay for the expanded war in afghanistan? Im 100% for a war tax, I was for one when we first went to Afghanistan and when we first went to Iraq. Im a liberal and proud of it. Im also a fiscal conservative and proud of that too. All you repubs who just now "rediscovered" fiscal responsibility are hypocrites of the worst kind. Where was the complaining abou deficits under GWB? He set and reset the records for those several times. Where was the complaining about 700 BILLION dollars going straight to the banks last fall? Where was the complaining about the 160 BILLION "tax refund" passed under GWB in the spring of 2008? Obama passes a 780 BILLION dollar stimulus package this spring, with things that will come to us the citizens and not the big Wallstreet banks and you idiots decide now to complain. Your all pathetic, and you know who you are.

Just saw in the OWH that all 8th graders in the City of Omaha will now be taught CPR. Socialist bastards...

Anonymous said...

BTO--thanks for your insight.

Interestig that you criticize GWB for not paying for the war--but that's what Obama is doing in Afghanistan.

But that's ok now, right?

Nathan--as far as 'pathetic', pls look in the mirror.

Anonymous said...

Nathan--are you talking about the same 'stimulus' program that Obama's people said would keep unemployment at 8%?

It's working real well...

Anonymous said...

BTO--your response really dodges/avoids the issue. Have you been hanging around Lisa Hannah?

Anonymous said...

I don't know why in the hell OPS would make a decision to take class time away from other public health issues to teach 8th graders CPR.

It is widely known that the most important component of CPR is the chest compressions. If you have to do CPR for an extended time period(which can be physically exhausting)it is considered vital to keep the chest compressions regular rather than run the risk of exhausting the caregiver to the point of giving up.

Many, if not most, 8th graders do not have the physical strength to do a proper life saving chest compression. These children(and that is what they are, by the way)should be taught more basic first aid and the most common life saving technique available-CALL 911, NOW!

But, if OPS thinks it will make a kid feel better to try CPR, even though they victim will probably die anyway because of the lack of strength in the compressions, well, feeling good about yourself is really all that matters then, right?

Anonymous said...

I think they should teach the kids how to treat a gunshot wound. Way more relevant!!!

Thats all you got, really? Its common knowledge amongst competent people that job growth lags behind other types of economic recovery. The stock market has started to turn around, economic indicators are going up. If you really want to blame someone for the high unemployment, he lives is Austin Texas currently.

A7:35,
President Obama wants the cost of the war to be in the budget, rather than using the "creative accounting" system used by GWB.

Now now..the recall should be swift...when we have complete goofs like a Mr. Magoo persona aka Jimmy Suttle and a Mr. Bean or maybe Barney Fife persona aka Ron "Gerard" Penzkowski at the helm..BTW..ask Ron about his Teddy Bears..lol..

Nathan--sorry, bucko--that's over now. This is all on your watch--and you guys are failing on the economy. 10.2% unemployment--it is your fault--GWB and the R's didn't force you to adopt a 'stimulus' plan that has only spent 25% of the dough in 10 months. And the fault will be more so on you next year when unempl hits 11%. Have fun defending your incompetence.

Sorry for the long comment... been busy!

=========================

"To change the subject for a moment, just wondered what the lefty/indie/obamarama crowd here thinks of Obama's plan to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan.

Is that the kind of change you can believe in?"

If by change you mean doing what he said what he was going to do during the campaign, then yeah. He's had the right idea on this all along, framing it a Af-Pak issue, them being so intertwined, adding troops earlier this year, and adding more troops now. We'll see if that 18 months target is wishful thinking or not... if I was a betting man I'd say it wont happen that fast, but then again the surge in Iraq worked a LOT better than I expected to so who knows?

==========================

I'm still pretty convinced that the recall would probably get enough signatures to go to a vote, but I don't see Suttle actually getting ousted. Only people fired up about getting him out of office are hard core Republicans. Need a lot more than that to get across the finish line.

The stadium has been one big mess from the start. It was a done deal before it was ever made public... rich people just getting richer on the backs of the taxpayers, and vanity of wanting a big thing as a legacy. Total garbage.

Not a fan of Daub, and he was far from the only one pointing out the stupidity of funding the stadium on Keno money (lots of other organizations use that money that do much better things than provide a venue for a sport, replacing a venue that works just fine), etc etc etc. Nonetheless, Daub was right on the money here.

==========================

"WOW! If all you folks jumping on the recall Suttle wagon weren't so narrow minded you'd recognize that Heinneman is doing all the same things wrong only on a bigger and grander scale."

Difference is Heineman has a massive demographic advantage. He's certainly bungled some big big things... and even raised taxes (not sure why he's not getting flak for that). But I think you'd be deluding yourself if you actually think anyone in the state could beat him any time soon, barring some kind of sex scandal or something, heheh

==========================

"For any conservative to complain about paying for anything is just incredible. It was W and the conservative ideology that took a 270 billion surplus and turned it into a trillion dollar deficit while sending our soldiers to war without the equipment they needed and treating them like pond scum when they got back."

Sorry there guy... but BOTH parties have been running up deficits for generations. The surplus came from a tech bubble that no politician could have kept alive forever, along with a stalemate between a fiscally moderate Democratic president and Republican congress that forced compromise that resulted in slower growth in government. W made it worse, but trying to lay it all on W is absurd posturing. Macroeconomic forces far beyond any political force got us into this mess.

Both wars put together equal a TINY fraction of our long term debt projections. Our country needs to raise taxes AND slow the growth of government to below economic growth for a generation or more to have a chance at saving our country from bankrupcy mid century.

Can't have your cake and eat it too. Assuming you're a conservative (correct me if I'm wrong) you think that government action couldn't fix the problem even if it was planned perfectly. Macroeconomic forces couldn't be turned around quickly had the stimulus been twice as big as the one passed.

I do however agree that the stimulus should have been a more focused job creation bill, and should have had a much faster time table, which should have included more direct tax rebates.

Most people in your party were keen on the idea of stimulus... as long as the guy pushing for it had an 'R' after his name.

Both Bush's and Obama's stimulus were, in my opinion, absolutely necessary, while at the same time ruefully wasteful and misdirected.

Its BOTH Obama's AND Bush's... Democrats' AND Republicans' economy were dealing with. We'll see if the public's memory span is short enough to not remember how bad you guys screwed up things before they compare your misdirected ideas with those of those currently in power...

Only gain out of this is more and more people join us in the ranks of independents. Keep 'em comin'... the water is fine here.

That's some real concise political discussion there. I'll be you wowed them in kindergarten with your eloquence. I can just hear you now as you laughed maniacally at your own snappy repartee, "You're a poopy pants and a bugger nose!"

What is really hilarious, is that you insult the intellectual integrity of Sweeper's readers by repeating yourself ad nauseam, as though they didn't "get" it the first several times you posted the same tripe.
